DART ~ A TOUCH OF INDIVIDUALITY!

In  2007 the Bruce Charitable Trust and the Disabled Afloat Riverboats Trust (DART) will, once again, be working together to promote holiday weeks for individuals. For details of trips available, please look on the DART website at www.glosdart.co.uk.

We can take up to 14 individual guests on each trip which will be crewed by experienced skippers, crew and catering volunteers from DART. DART have been running such trips for 14 years now on the rivers Severn and Avon, Kennet & Avon Canal and the River Thames. As a result we now have experience of the needs of a wide range of guests. Here are some of the things we have done in the past (and expect to continue doing in the future):

 We can't help with everything and there are limits to what we can do but if we can help we will. All you have to do is ask!

 Costs range from £150 per person for a 3 day trip to £235 for a 7 day trip on the Kennet & Avon and £345 for trips on the Thames.  DART are also working to develop a course for people willing to organise such trips and would like to find two volunteers to undertake such training which will culminate in taking part in one of the trips starting on 9th June and 14th July 2007. Disability is no bar to taking part provided you have the abilities to do the job.
