Hiring
Boats are normally hired on a weekly basis from Saturday mornings at Great
Bedwyn or Sunday mornings at Lower Foxhangers. Each group should have a
minimum of three able-bodied helpers to operate the boat and work the
locks and additional people may be required to assist with caring for
those with special needs. The holiday ends the following weekend, which
allows time for our team of Engineers, Cleaners etc. to prepare the boat
for the next hiring although we do expect our customers to leave the boat
in a clean and tidy condition.
Day Trips crewed by our volunteers, may be arranged for groups when we
have a boat available.

As an incentive to encourage hirers to avoid the busiest periods on the
canals, we offer discounts for some holidays at the beginning and ending
of the season.
